Dear Comrades,

Just a quick note, which I will follow up with a further communication later on.

All of you were nominated to stand in the postal election for two positions on the Subcommittee on structures. However, at the Steering Committee on Tuesday afternoon it was decided that all four of you should be members of the Sub Committee rather than proceeding with a postal ballot. It was also agreed that the three component groups would have an entitlement to have up to three representatives on the body, i.e. maximum attendance of ten members.

I will go into the reasons for this alteration later, as am under pressure of work now.

The Steering Committee wanted to raise the proposal that the first/initial meeting of the Subcommittee take place in Dublin on Saturday 10 March, perhaps starting at 11am or 12.
